2D DESIGN STUDIO I
4 STUDIO SESSIONS

Total Studio Time: 12 hours
$24 per studio session
These studio sessions give the artist the opportunity to explore and practice the various principles, elements and concepts of two-dimensional design. Participants will have the opportunity to create compositions through conceptual experimentation with balance, rhythm, line, value, texture, emphasis and unity. Participants will be able to practice the utilization of the principles and elements of design; design terminology; and critique methods.
Participants: Limited to 8 (Minimum TBD)
Level: All levels are welcome.
Suggested Materials Participants Should Bring:
Graphite Pencils (2H, HB, 2B, 4B, 6B, 8B);
Micron Pen Set;
Kneaded Eraser;
Pink Pearl Eraser;
Drawing Paper Pad 18”x 24”;
12” or 24” Straight Edge (Ruler);
Bristol Pad 11”x14”;
Tracing Paper Pad;
Erasing Shield;
Drafting Brush;
Tube of Black Acrylic Paint
Opaque White
India Ink;
Paint Tape;
Paint Brushes (Small with Flat, Angled Bristles Recommended)
